tonight i did a replay of the first in a series of evening with parents talking about media. this is a replay because there were several parents that i knew would be able to make the first meeting.
tonight one of the dads shared a decision they made for their family. they wanted to have some great quality time with their kids and that's how they discovered atv's. they found something that they could all do as a family together that would also allow them to invest in their kids.
although the norm should be parents being proactive and investing in their kid’s lives, there are plenty of parents who do not do that. and the norm reality is that many parents are not proactive when it comes to their kids and then wonder why their kids end up on drugs, in a gang, becoming parents themselves when they are teens or any other numerous things.
way to go proactive parents!
